I have made so many friends through STAR. Having meetings and dinners with my committee made us very close, and I also bonded with other actives at the active member weekends and drinks. As an international, STAR made a home for me in Rotterdam where I have been introduced to Dutch traditions and people and made friends across the different studies at RSM.
During my time as an active member, I made many friends and had lots of fun. Besides learning new skills while organising the event, my committee also had weekly dinners after which we went to the social drinks organised by STAR. Joining STAR was an enrichment to my student life, academically as well as socially.
At STAR, I met some really close friends that I still talk to on a daily basis. During my second year organized the IBA Study Trip. Besides getting to organize some fun events, going to all other STAR events with my committees and having dinners together as often as possible really made being part of STAR a great way to get to know other people and learn about Dutch culture.
