Hi! My name is Floris Murk and I’m honoured to introduce myself as the Chairman of the XLVIIIth STAR Board.

From the moment I started my BSc IBA in Rotterdam three years ago, I was determined to live my life as a student to the fullest. Taking on every opportunity, embracing challenges and above all: enjoying this journey. 

This mindset led me to STAR, where I became an active member three years ago. I have been part of three different committees: the Eurotrip committee, Eurekaweek committee and Party committee. I also took part in many of the great activities STAR offers. Throughout these experiences, I developed a great passion for STAR. The friendships I’ve made, the personal growth I’ve experienced, and the unforgettable moments I’ve had along the way have shaped my time in Rotterdam in the best possible way.

As chairman of STAR, I will guide and support my fellow board members so we can thrive together, while focusing on the long-term strategy of STAR to ensure it continues to grow and bring value to students.
