Are you a Bachelor 1 or 2 student who is passionate about problem-solving and curious to discover the world of consulting? The STAR Case Competition (SCC) is the perfect chance for you to get an insight into the thrilling experience of case solving!

This event will take place from the 19th to the 20th of November. First, you will participate in a workshop by Octavio Mota (senior consultant at EY). Next, you will compete in teams against other 1st year IBA1 students and spend 6 hours solving a real-life case. You will have the opportunity to impress current Case Club board members, so this is your chance to give your all and make a momentous impression!

In addition, all participants will earn certificates and exciting prizes to be looked forward to! However, the most special reward will go to the winners, who will get the chance to solve another individual case in December, judged by Case Club board members. It will not only provide extra training but also higher odds of being selected in Case Club’s January recruitment!

Further information about the STAR Case Competition:
● You can apply alone or with your friends (max. 4)! (NOTE: Everybody in your team needs to buy a spot!)
● The event is first come first served and there are only 32 spots to fill!
● Location: on Campus Woudestein, in the Polak building.

Day 1:
On the 19th, you will start off with a crash course on case solving teaching you the necessary skills to become an effective case solver! In the afternoon, the solving becomes real: you’ll be given a 6h case to solve with your team. This will be the time to be creative and think out of the box to come up with the best solution.

Day 2:
The second day will start off with each team’s presentations in front of a panel of judges. After lunch, the judges will have selected the two finalist teams who will compete in a final round. But that’s not all! Case Club is also all about the incredible people you meet. To make the experience even more memorable, the Case Competition will conclude with social drinks – an opportunity to network with other contestants and the jury members!
