Deamy Verhoeven

Hi all! My name is Deamy Verhoeven, I am 21 years old and I will be the Secretary of the XLIVth STAR Board. As most other board members, I am currently finishing up my bachelor of Business Administration in order to fully focus on STAR’s activities next year! After a year of COVID-19, I was not ready to start on my master’s degree so I decided to take a leap of faith and apply for a full-time board position. I am proud to lead STAR next year and promote Rotterdam as one of the best student cities in the Netherlands. I moved to Rotterdam in my second year and became a mentor for first-year RSM students, so some of you might recognize me from the BA Kick-off. I have not been active at STAR before so I am preparing myself for the STAR rollercoaster ride! I am looking forward to meeting all the Active Members of STAR and the newbies next year during one of the drinks. So, will I see you there?

As the Secretary, I will be the main contact person, facilitate the planning of events and I will try my best to answer all of your questions. Next to that, I will be the HR Manager and I will be in charge of the Activity Teams and the Alumni. I cannot wait for the year to begin and do not hesitate to come by for a chat!
