Kai van der Plas

My name is Kai van der Plas, and I look forward to taking over the role of Information Processes Manager for the XLIXth STAR Board.

I am currently finalising my third year of Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam. My sole active role within STAR was as Commissioner of Events for the 39th STAR Management Week. While my active career stops there, STAR has always had a place in my heart since the beginning of my bachelor. I am grateful for the people I met, the friends I made, and the opportunities I received through STAR, and I am proud to give back to the community that provided me with all of that.

As Information Processes Manager, I will be responsible for STAR’s IT operations. This includes ensuring that the website functions properly and improving it where needed. I will also support the technical aspects of flagship events such as STAR Management Week and the Erasmus Recruitment Platform, while assisting committees and members with technical issues.

Another important responsibility of the Information Processes Manager is data collection, analysis, and supporting data-driven decision-making. I am excited to contribute in this area, as it provides opportunities to help STAR improve and develop further.

I am eager to get started and look forward to working, learning, and creating great memories together with many of you.
