Simone Barendse

Hey everyone! My name is Simone Barendse and I was the Information Processes Manager of the XLIIIrd STAR board. I finished my bachelor Business Administration and I am currently doing a master in Information Management. In my second bachelor year, I joined STAR as one of the commercials for the International Week Holland 2019. In my third year, it was time for a new challenge, and I served as the program manager of the RSM STAR Case Competition 2020. After successfully organizing this event, I was looking for a new challenge: a board year at STAR!

As the Information Processes Manager, I was responsible for all IT related projects. This includes the STAR website, supporting decision making with data, dealing with technical issues of the STAR Management Week and Erasmus Recruitment and focusing on the long-term strategy of STAR. Furthermore, I was responsible for the engagement of STAR’s alumni and the supervision of the academic pillar of STAR.
