Marijn Douma

Hello everyone! My name is Marijn Douma and I am 21 years old. I will be the Project Manager
Bachelor of the XLVIth STAR board. Born and raised in Friesland, I embarked on a new adventure
in Rotterdam to start studying Business Administration, and I am currently in the final stages of
completing my Bachelor’s degree. Besides studying I like to do sports and spend quality time with
friends.

This year I became an active member of STAR by joining the Euro Trip committee as chairman.
Together with my team, we are working hard to organize an amazing trip.
As an active member, I got to know STAR better and became interested in a board year. Because I
was looking for a new challenge after my Bachelor’s and wanted to gain practical experience, I
decided to apply for the STAR board.

As the Project Manager Bachelor I will guide and supervise the Bachelor Committees. Next to that
I’m also responsible for the academic value that we have to offer for our members.
