Max Zijlstra

Hello everyone! My name is Max Zijlstra, and I am the Project Manager Career and Vice-Chairman of the XLVIth
STAR Board. I’m 22 years old, born in beautiful Hengelo, and have been living in Rotterdam for
about 3 years now. I finished my bachelor’s in business administration this July and decided to
take on the challenge and become a board member at STAR.

In my first year, I organized the BA Introduction Days, where I was responsible for the Commercial
activities within the committee. After that, I decided to take on another committee and joined the
BA Study Trip as Program. This ended with an amazing trip to Montreal, which included leading a
group of 35 students to explore this big city. With all these experiences in hand, I decided it was
time to take it to the next level and apply for the STAR Board.

I’m very much looking forward to the upcoming year at STAR. Me and my fellow board members
will do everything to make it a successful year for STAR and its members. Besides this, I’m very
excited to be working closely together with both the STAR Management Week and Erasmus
Recruitment Board!
